About the role

  • Serve as strategic career coach to students who completed Braven Accelerator
  • Develop vision and strategy to support Fellows in securing internships and post-college outcomes
  • Manage progress-to-goals tracking/reporting for student internship/job attainment
  • Manage and analyze student-level and program data to implement support interventions
  • Lead annual Jobs Campaign to ensure graduates land strong opportunities
  • Provide strategic 1:1 career coaching for Fellows
  • Build and steward relationships to refer students to opportunities
  • Develop and implement strategy to build regional Fellow community
  • Create, plan, and execute events for community building and networking
  • Collaborate on in-person workshops and employer partner events in DFW
  • Attend Learning Labs and begin Fellow engagement
  • Manage a Workforce Development intern and source Fellows as interns/volunteers
  • Participate in planning, team events, and represent Braven externally

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience working with college students
  • 5+ years of experience in manager or director level role (preferred)
  • Track record of success in managing complex relationships and projects (preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in early career coaching (preferred)
  • Experience in higher education or workforce strategy (preferred)
  • Ability to build inspiring visions and strategy that motivates others to action (preferred)
  • Extremely detail-oriented while maintaining sight of the big picture (preferred)
  • Strong external and internal relationship-building skills and stakeholder tailoring (preferred)
  • Enjoy bringing together multiple perspectives to enhance work and decisions (preferred)
  • Continual reflection and openness to upward feedback (preferred)

  • Experiences aligned with Braven’s mission and working with student Fellows (preferred)
