Director

• Plan and implement the design, development, and delivery of learning programs, including asynchronous sessions staff can access in an LMS, along with in-person and virtual instructor-led training, workshops, and blended learning solutions aimed at upskilling Braven’s extraordinary staff.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including detailed project plans, task lists, timelines, and progress reports, to ensure transparency, accountability, and efficient project tracking across the lifecycle.

• Collaborate with People team leads, people managers, and Executive members to assess various data points (focus group, listening tour summaries, performance review trends, culture survey data, etc) and identify learning needs.
• Utilize data points to develop customized solutions by creating a scope and sequence of learning priorities leading to behavioral shifts toward high-impact leadership behaviors.
• Support organizational strategic priorities and change management initiatives related to training and development, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption.
• This includes, but is not limited to, developing communication strategies and artifacts such as decks and memos with the goal of bringing people along and developing capacity for changes related to leadership and management practices.
• Communicate the value and impact of L&D initiatives to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support. Tell the story of learning and development of Braven’s talent through data and strategies.
• Create the first iteration of Braven’s people leader philosophy, including developing data-informed priority areas and goals for people managers, and determining the optimal way to resource learning objectives in alignment with the L&D philosophy.
• Partner with the Head of People, project owners, and leadership to develop and execute change management strategies for major organizational initiatives (including Enterprise Resource Planning implementation, structural changes, and process improvements).
• Collaborate with the Head of People to develop communication strategies and artifacts to support buy-in and excitement across the organization of the new L&D offerings you will lead in developing.
• Design and deliver training programs to support the adoption of new systems, processes, and ways of working.

• Lead qualitative research process from front to end (e.g., from designing interview/focus group protocols and facilitating sessions to analyzing data and surfacing actionable insights.

• Support managing external research partnerships by synthesizing insights from both Braven's data and external research to create a compelling, unified narrative.
• Own a subset of continuous improvement priorities from Braven’s Research Agenda
• Define and prioritize the most important learning questions to help Braven monitor and analyze fidelity of implementation, and understand where and how we can best improve
• Design and run pilots and other projects to answer learning questions, in partnership with Product and regional team colleagues

• Oversee and ensure strong local program implementation at the HEP, including the pre-course, course, and post-course experience, to meet programmatic goals.

• Participate in organization-wide efforts to drive program model strategy and recommend changes as needed.
• Observe, provide feedback, and collaborate in weekly in-person and virtual Braven Accelerator course, virtual and in-person career events, student recruitment events, and other key moments throughout the year.
• Take initiative to deeply understand Braven’s program, outcomes, and indicators of success by collaborating with the Rutgers-Newark team, shadowing the Braven Accelerator, becoming a Leadership Coach, and other strategies.
• Develop and steward strong and formalized partnerships with the HEP leadership and faculty, employers, and community-based organizations that result in additional resources for our students and improvements to our program model.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with key HEP stakeholders that foster collaboration and a healthy partnership.
• Lead and co-lead meetings with HEP stakeholders to integrate Braven into the campus career ecosystem and ensure partnership goals and agreements are upheld.
• Act as the “mayor” of the local HEP, owning local relationships and the campaign manager running local campaigns on campus.
• Build a collaborative team culture committed to achieving excellence, meeting site goals, and living out Braven core values.
• Co-create strategy in partnership with the ED for the HEP site and drive stakeholders towards the shared vision.
• Utilize local context and assets to design overarching strategy that brings the right programmatic and enrollment supports on campus.
• Set goals and key performance indicators for the HEP that drive scale and strong first opportunity outcomes among Fellows and align with Braven’s priorities.
• Lead and manage the Program Staff, provide organization-wide leadership within the One Braven Group, and steward Braven’s Core Values.

• Set vision & direction for the Post-Accelerator programming strategy: develop and continuously reevaluate strategy based on data and research to achieve strong first opportunity outcomes goals and engage in rigorous analysis and collaboration processes to align decision-making with Head of Design and CPO
• Manage pilot initiatives: design and oversee strategic pilot initiatives, collaborate with Research Team to develop learning objectives and evaluate outcomes, directly manage pilot execution, coordinate cross-functional efforts, timelines, and resources, socialize learnings and lead processes to decide which interventions to invest in or sunset
• Lateral Leadership & Collaboration: direct and guide cross-functional teams, manage laterally, develop and lead learning and development initiatives to upskill teammates, ensure central and regional team alignment on Post-Accelerator strategy, lead org-wide change management efforts, prepare to take on direct management responsibilities as organization evolves

About the Role
In order to achieve its ambition of serving 80,000-100,000 Fellows over the next decade, Braven is hiring a Senior Director, Insights who will lead a team of data professionals and be responsible for both advancing day-to-day operations and setting a bold vision for how Braven leverages data. What this looks like in your day-to-day life is that you will both be setting strategy in collaboration with other leaders and doing detailed, on-the-ground problem solving, building, and analysis alongside your team.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping Braven into a truly data-powered organization, helping us use data to make transformative strategic, programmatic, and operational decisions. The ideal candidate combines technical mastery with exceptional leadership, management, and organizational influence in their every day.
