Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and implement a comprehensive department / business unit strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
Ensure communication and engagement of strategic direction and goals with key groups.
Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders for department / business unit.
Manage a team of professionals.
Provide regular reports and updates on the effectiveness of department / business unit efforts.
Accountable for the overall performance of the office’s operational, client and technical goals, for personnel that report in through the Engineering and Testing and Drilling divisions.
Objectively evaluating employee performance and establishing and clarifying goals for staff.

Requirements

What you’ll need

bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with experience in geotechnical and construction materials testing required
Texas PE preferred, or ability to obtain registration through reciprocity within 3 months
Five years of progressive related professional experience, including at least two years of leadership experience
Driver’s license
Microsoft Office proficiency
