About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own planning and execution of cyclical People programs, including performance management, talent reviews, engagement surveys, and systems optimizations
- Define project scopes, success criteria, subject matter experts, detailed project plans, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations
- Own the People program calendar, project/program tracking, and reporting; support issue identification and resolution
- Lead the People Team AI Enablement strategy and implementation, including tracking AI trends and teaching the team to use AI as a capability multiplier
- Lead strategic internal communications campaigns aligned with People initiatives and programs
- Craft the People roadmap narrative to clarify People strategy and its impact on employee experience
- Conduct post-project evaluations and apply learnings to subsequent projects
- Advise the People team on project scoping and delivery best practices and support individual projects
- Prepare Board- and Executive-Team-ready presentations with People data, program results, and OKR alignment
- Improve People team-wide meetings and collaboration events through goals, agendas, slide decks, and supporting materials
- Manage the team operations calendar and identify synergies and optimization opportunities
- Support the Chief People Officer in managing and prioritizing the People team budget
- Execute additional key projects as assigned, such as real estate strategy
- Serve as a trusted advisor, thought partner, and strategic operator; report to the Chief People Officer and collaborate with executives and business partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience as an HR/People Operations practitioner
- Subject matter expertise in one or more of performance management, employee engagement, talent management, compensation, HR systems management, implementations, or integrations
- Experience independently managing complex projects with company-wide reach and impact
- Demonstrated understanding of the People function, best practices, standards, compliance, systems, and common programs and initiatives
- Fluency with data reporting and analysis and relevant tools such as Google Sheets and Google Slides
- Experience using data to provide insight, support decision-making, and build influence
- Experience leveraging AI tools for individual and team productivity and efficiency
- Experience with business tools for project lifecycle management and communication; stack includes Notion, Slack, and Google Suite
- Demonstrated excellence developing executive-facing presentations and analyses in Google Slides and Google Sheets
- Demonstrated consultative and partnership skills with stakeholders across all levels
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required
- Agile/PMP Certification is a plus
- Strategic thinking with ability to execute tactically
- Comfort leveraging AI tools and teaching others to use them
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to change
- Ability to establish trust and cultivate partnerships
