Sales Manager
BrainforceSales Manager responsible for prospecting and closing deals in the fintech media and events sector. Expanding client base and collaborating with marketing teams to drive growth.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Actively prospect for new clients through research, networking and leveraging social media and sales platforms.
- Employ a strategic approach for initial engagement and tailored communication for prospective clients.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, moving them through the sales cycle from initial contact to closure.
- Conduct meetings with potential clients to understand the unique needs and challenges of potential clients and propose opportunities that align with their objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements, aiming for outcomes that benefit both the client and the company equally.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including client communications, proposals and contracts, within the CRM system.
- Attend company and industry events to represent our company, network with potential clients, and stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, news and updates, leveraging this knowledge to better identify and engage with potential clients.
- Work closely with the marketing team to identify and target key segments within the financial services and fintech industries.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new exhibitors and sponsors.
- Provide feedback from clients to the product and marketing teams to help shape future sales strategies and expo offerings.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Proven sales experience, with a track record of successfully prospecting and closing new business (3-5 years).
- Previous experience in exhibition and events industry is essential
- Strong understanding of the financial services and fintech industries, with existing networks a plus.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
- Effective problem-solving abilities to address client needs and challenges
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
- Personal Attributes:
- Clear and articulate communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey expo details, negotiate effectively and maintain professional relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Adaptability to changing market conditions and client requirements.
