About the role
- Develop and write short and long-form articles, as well as cover breaking news related to the B2B aspects of the trading, fintech, and cryptocurrency industries.
- Build well-researched stories using a mix of news developments, interviews, public records, and data analysis.Navigate complex and time-sensitive topics, maintaining accuracy and clarity under pressure.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to plan coverage, meet deadlines and maintain high journalistic standards.
- Apply strong editorial judgment and a resourceful, proactive approach to sourcing and verifying information.
Requirements
- Location: Preference for candidates based in Cyprus
- Native or High level of English language.
- Demonstrated editorial experience (2–5 years) in a digital newsroom or content-focused setting.
- Proven investigative journalism experience.
- Familiarity with B2B coverage in financial markets, trading, fintech, or regulatory topics.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools to support content research, ideation, and editing while maintaining editorial integrity.
- Ability to analyse complex topics and translate them into clear, engaging, and accessible content for a professional audience.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in remote team settings.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
