About the role
- Coordinate the creative team to ensure the technical, strategic, and creative quality of deliverables.
- Review, together with the Business Unit Director, the creative team’s working conditions and technology.
- Study, evaluate, and understand the nature of requested tasks to contribute relevant information to project delivery.
- Generate work concepts by identifying directions, possibilities, and options, and by guiding creative thinking.
- Be responsible for the creative delivery and execution of projects for your client group.
- Identify alternatives, request quotes, brief and oversee production of electronic production work (illustrators, 3D artists, photographers, etc.).
- Define and advise on print production regarding the technical specifications of pieces to be produced.
- Be responsible for extracting briefings and presenting work to clients.
- Lead agenda meetings, organize and control project workflow.
- Plan and propose creative opportunities and strategies for your client portfolio, together with Project Directors, Planning, and the account team.
- Validate final artworks and print proofs for your client group.
- Monitor, guide, train, and develop work teams in the area’s tasks and actions, in accordance with quality standards and procedures.
- Monitor and manage the dashboard, aiming to meet established targets.
- Define, create, and archive the portfolio and case studies for your client group.
- Verify the originality of presented creative proposals and any third-party authorship or copyright issues.
- Define and implement action plans for your area.
- Evaluate, together with Operations, vacation schedules and absences (time bank).
- Assess the need for and hire freelance designers, copywriters, planners, and motion designers.
- Propose, develop, and deliver training in your area of competence for creatives.
- Conduct evaluations and create individual development plans for creatives, including interns.
- Foster a culture of innovation within your area and across the company.
- Analyze and advance the annual action plan and the area’s action requests (SAs).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Design, or related fields.
- Solid prior experience in design studios, companies, agencies, or production houses with projects involving brands, point-of-sale, packaging, and printed materials.
- Knowledge of design tools and methodologies (Design Thinking, among others).
- Preferred:
- Postgraduate degree / MBA in Communication, Marketing, Design, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing. Knowledge of Motion Design.
- Familiarity with AI tools.
