About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the region that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives
- Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives, setting clear performance targets and providing coaching and support to ensure their success
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, identifying their needs and ensuring they receive exceptional service and support
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities within the semiconductor industry to identify opportunities and threats
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets for the region, tracking performance against targets and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitive insights
- Travel within the region as well as occasional national and international travel to attend conferences, meet with clients, and foster business relationships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of successful sales or sales management experience in the semiconductor industry
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor products, applications, and technologies
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Results-driven with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license, safe driving record and be insurable by the Companies’ liability carrier
