About the role
- Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous evaluation of programs to ensure they meet the needs of clients, adhere to professional standards, and comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Monitor program effectiveness and adjust as necessary to improve client outcomes and program efficiency.
- Provide clinical supervision, consultation, and support to therapists, counselors, and other clinical staff.
- Responsible for staff supervision, training, hiring, discipline, and termination of staff.
- Facilitate regular staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops to ensure staff are well-trained and up to date with the latest clinical practices and standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and program activities according to compliance and accreditation standards.
- Prepare reports on program statistics, outcomes, and strategic developments for senior management and external agencies as required.
- Provide leadership and support in crisis situations, ensuring appropriate responses and managing follow-up care.
- Supervise the schedule of groups and other patient activities to ensure adequate staffing to meet patient needs and assigns therapists and counselors caseloads.
- Coordinate with Corporate Management Team and Risk Manager/Performance Improvement staff to prepare for audits and maintain accreditation standards.
- Represent the organization in community and professional settings, enhancing the organization’s profile and building partnerships.
- Communicate with healthcare providers, referral sources, and other stakeholders to promote the program and ensure a continuum of care for clients.
- Propose and implement innovative practices and techniques to enhance the effectiveness of patient service delivery.
- Maintain availability for On Call after hours to provide consultation and support to staff as needed.
- Attend professional workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure.
- Adhere to ethical standards as outlined by national and state professional boards.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA and other relevant laws including 42 CFR Part 2.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required.
- Current licensure as a Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent in the state of practice.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.
- If recovering, two years of continuous verifiable sobriety.
- 4 years of eating disorder treatment experience preferred.
- Certification in eating disorder treatment modalities preferred.
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Current CPR/AED/Basic First Aid certification.
