About the role

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as psychotherapy, addiction treatment, and crisis intervention.
  • Facilitate addiction recovery programs and support clients through relapse prevention and life transition challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and social workers, to coordinate holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, monitor progress, and adjust treatment approaches as necessary.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
  • Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in addiction treatment and mental health counseling.
  • Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage diverse client populations.
  • Certification in specialized therapies such as Anger Management or Family Therapy (preferred).
  • Experience working with group therapy settings and facilitating support groups (preferred).
  • Training in trauma-informed care and culturally competent counseling practices (preferred).
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation standards (preferred).
  • Additional credentials related to life transitions counseling or behavioral health coaching (preferred).
