About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with ACIST Medical Systems customers by providing quality technical support of the company’s electro-mechanical devices
  • Provide preventive maintenance, emergency field service and installation of ACIST products within a specified geographical area
  • Respond to all customer requests for service by establishing cause of equipment failure and performing repairs
  • Replace parts needed to correct malfunction and perform proper tests to ensure operation of the equipment after repair
  • Respond to requests for emergency service as required
  • Assist with or perform the installation of proprietary injector systems at customer locations as requested
  • Prepare detailed service and failure records for work performed and enter all information into the ACIST service tracking database
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through knowledge of injector systems and the use of verbal and listening communication skills
  • Maintain tools and test equipment in accordance with Company policy
  • Provide assistance, as needed, to home-office Customer Support, the Service Project Engineer or other Field Service Team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum Associates degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronic Technology, BioMed, or combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
  • 1+ years experience in service, troubleshooting, analyzing and formulating solutions of electro-mechanical equipment
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Excellent analytical skills, especially in problem solving
  • Electro-mechanical and hand-tool skills
  • Knowledge on the use of measurement equipment (i.e. Digital Multi Meter, caliper, micrometer)
  • Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics
  • Workload management and planning; attention to detail
  • Computer experience: PC, Microsoft Office and database applications
  • Familiarity with ISO, FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) and Quality Systems
  • Demonstrated ability to follow manufacturing processes directions and drawings to mechanically assemble components
  • Valid driver’s license
