About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain strong relationships with ACIST Medical Systems customers by providing quality technical support of the company’s electro-mechanical devices
- Provide preventive maintenance, emergency field service and installation of ACIST products within a specified geographical area
- Respond to all customer requests for service by establishing cause of equipment failure and performing repairs
- Replace parts needed to correct malfunction and perform proper tests to ensure operation of the equipment after repair
- Respond to requests for emergency service as required
- Assist with or perform the installation of proprietary injector systems at customer locations as requested
- Prepare detailed service and failure records for work performed and enter all information into the ACIST service tracking database
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through knowledge of injector systems and the use of verbal and listening communication skills
- Maintain tools and test equipment in accordance with Company policy
- Provide assistance, as needed, to home-office Customer Support, the Service Project Engineer or other Field Service Team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Associates degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronic Technology, BioMed, or combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
- 1+ years experience in service, troubleshooting, analyzing and formulating solutions of electro-mechanical equipment
- Strong verbal, interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Excellent analytical skills, especially in problem solving
- Electro-mechanical and hand-tool skills
- Knowledge on the use of measurement equipment (i.e. Digital Multi Meter, caliper, micrometer)
- Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics
- Workload management and planning; attention to detail
- Computer experience: PC, Microsoft Office and database applications
- Familiarity with ISO, FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) and Quality Systems
- Demonstrated ability to follow manufacturing processes directions and drawings to mechanically assemble components
- Valid driver’s license
