About the role
- Develop sales strategies and execute plans to meet established targets.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers at current and prospective clients, responding to requests for information, proposals, and quotes.
- Deliver sales presentations and address customer concerns promptly and courteously.
- Participate in product trade shows, utility-sponsored events, and industry association gatherings to maintain mutually beneficial business relationships.
- Present detailed reports to the Sales Director and other stakeholders as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology-related sales
- Knowledge of the software solutions environment
- Proven track record working with vendors, wholesalers/distributors, partners, system integrators, consulting firms, and end users within the technology industry
- Strong interpersonal skills, including sales, problem-solving, and customer service, are essential
- Ability to analyze sales and market data
- Ability to deliver high-quality presentations
- Ability to work independently while meeting assigned goals and objectives within established deadlines
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required
- Availability for client visits and for national and international business travel
