About the role

  • Play a vital role as a valued member of a team of dedicated audit experts
  • Gain exposure to a wide range of industries and over 10 industry groups
  • Receive comprehensive Assurance training and coaching from Learning & Development and assurance leaders
  • Analyze financial statements and related disclosures to identify material misstatements or discrepancies
  • Learn and perform audit procedures to assess accuracy and completeness of financial statements
  • Examine financial records, transactions, and supporting documentation for compliance with accounting principles and regulations
  • Assist in evaluating and testing the effectiveness of clients' internal control systems
  • Engage in regional intern events, executive speaker sessions, and collaborate on an intern project to showcase acquired knowledge and skills

Requirements

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics (BS/BA/MSA/MST/Certificate Program)
  • Graduating between 12/1/2026 – 8/1/2027
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing or obtaining CPA Educational Licensure Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to start in June 2025
  • Ability to work in one of BPM's California offices (San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Rosa, Santa Monica, Long Beach, and Sacramento)
