About the role
- Play a vital role as a valued member of a team of dedicated audit experts
- Gain exposure to a wide range of industries and over 10 industry groups
- Receive comprehensive Assurance training and coaching from Learning & Development and assurance leaders
- Analyze financial statements and related disclosures to identify material misstatements or discrepancies
- Learn and perform audit procedures to assess accuracy and completeness of financial statements
- Examine financial records, transactions, and supporting documentation for compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Assist in evaluating and testing the effectiveness of clients' internal control systems
- Engage in regional intern events, executive speaker sessions, and collaborate on an intern project to showcase acquired knowledge and skills
Requirements
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics (BS/BA/MSA/MST/Certificate Program)
- Graduating between 12/1/2026 – 8/1/2027
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing or obtaining CPA Educational Licensure Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to start in June 2025
- Ability to work in one of BPM's California offices (San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Rosa, Santa Monica, Long Beach, and Sacramento)
