About the role

  • Build, manage, and lead BPM-hosted and sponsored events in priority geographies, ensuring alignment with our industries and service lines.
  • Plan, organize, and execute a variety of in-person events and sponsorships.
  • Partner with firm leadership, Go-to-Market, and Demand Generation teams to set event goals, strategies, and ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Proactively propose event participation/sponsorships to firm leaders and support their event requests.
  • Manage event logistics (budgets, vendors, venues, catering, travel, and onsite setup).
  • Create and manage event timelines, communications, and registration processes.
  • Track budgets and expenses, ensuring events stay on target.
  • Collect and share post-event feedback and insights to measure success.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors, venues, and partners.
  • Brainstorm and develop new event ideas to engage clients and employees.
  • Engage a team of administrative support personnel when applicable to oversee office-based events.
  • Support overall marketing and business development goals through creative event strategies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing event management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Expertise in managing events within a professional services environment.
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with event platforms and marketing tools.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Budget management experience and a knack for negotiation.
  • A creative, flexible, and proactive mindset.
  • Willingness to travel and work some evenings or weekends for events.
