Oversee the work of Associates and bookkeepers and mentor teammates
Assist with client onboarding and system implementations
Handle complex accounting tasks and perform in-depth financial analysis
Partner with stakeholders to lead globalization efforts across US and Bengaluru teams
Schedule team tasks, delegate work, and understand engagement economics
Serve as bridge between clients and other team members, building rapport
Utilize and adapt to accounting systems like QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct
Demonstrate proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially advanced Excel
Complete yearly BPM Learning Plans and lead trainings as SME
Requirements
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
Active CPA license or educational credentials to sit for CPA exam or Masters degree in business/accounting (exceptions discussed)
Minimum 5 years' experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting function
Experience with data conversions, interfaces/integrations, reporting and customization within various ERP systems
Experience using QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite and/or other accounting platforms; certifications like QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Sage Intacct or NetSuite are a plus but optional
Working knowledge of Bill.com, Expensify, Ramp and/or Concur is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to synthesize research into clear, actionable deliverables
Knowledge of GAAP preferred; deep understanding of accrual accounting required
Demonstrated leadership experience and willingness to teach others
Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
