About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and implement polished gameplay content that demonstrates platform capabilities and new features
- Create example projects such as mini‑games, custom gameplay scenarios, and interactive environments to showcase best practices
- Develop and maintain scripts, configuration files, and content definitions to support custom gameplay systems
- Translate complex technical or platform requirements into clear, working gameplay examples
- Contribute to technical documentation, tutorials, and internal guidance that support external creators
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to validate and refine gameplay experiences
- Analyze gameplay behavior and technical performance to ensure quality, stability, and usability
- Follow iterative and agile development processes, adapting quickly to evolving requirements
- Ensure code, content, and tools meet quality, security, and compliance standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
- 2–4 years of professional or equivalent hands‑on experience in game or gameplay development
- Demonstrated experience building game content, mods, add‑ons, or extensions for moddable game platforms
- Strong scripting experience (TypeScript or JavaScript preferred), particularly in gameplay or content systems
- Hands‑on experience with gameplay logic, entity/item definitions, configuration files, and scripting APIs
- Experience designing, developing, and delivering projects from concept through completion
- Familiarity with iterative and agile development methodologies
- Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into clear, functional gameplay solutions
