About the role
- Support privacy compliance for global cloud and infrastructure operations.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and routine privacy reviews for ad hoc business requests.
- Review privacy submissions (approx. 60% of workload) and provide detailed feedback to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business teams and clarify requirements to ensure successful submissions (approx. 40% of workload).
- Support privacy-by-design initiatives by identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Maintain documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external privacy standards.
- Assist with responding to privacy inquiries and escalations from various business units.
- Contribute to workload management processes and operational improvements for the privacy program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in privacy, compliance, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of experience performing privacy reviews.
- Strong knowledge of privacy fundamentals, including familiarity with major regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
- IAPP certification (CIPP, CIPM, or related) strongly preferred.
- At least 1 year of consulting or stakeholder-facing experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly.
- Background in law, compliance, or regulatory affairs (preferred).
- Experience working with global teams or international privacy standards (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent requests (preferred).
