About the role
- Support sustainability reporting and compliance by designing, building, and maintaining applications and internal platforms on Azure
- Contribute directly to executive-level and public-facing sustainability disclosures and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks
- Work on Azure full-stack technologies, Azure SQL, Synapse, and modern web development tools
- End-to-end ownership from coding and design to testing, deployment, and DevOps
- Design, implement, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software components and services
- Develop and maintain internal platforms for sustainability tracking and reporting
- Track and close compliance-related SFI items
- Participate in technical discussions and propose solutions
- Own quality and DevOps for delivered code
- Build software that empowers customers to optimize business processes
- Create internal tools to improve team productivity and quality
- Safeguard data and systems with appropriate security measures
- Review, approve, and modify databases and database management systems
- Contribute to a collaborative, solution-focused team environment
Requirements
- 8–10 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure full-stack technologies, Azure SQL, and Synapse
- Proficiency in C# and RESTful API development
- Working knowledge of React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and HTML/CSS
- Experience with database design, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of SDLC practices
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
- (Preferred) Expertise in Power Platform
- (Preferred) Experience with sustainability reporting or compliance frameworks
- (Preferred) Strong stakeholder collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
