About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the Group Reporting Manual is properly applied at local entity level
Consult, evidence, document, and approve accounting judgements within Accounting Policy requirements and Delegations of Authority
Serve as a finance subject matter expert on accounting policies, standards, and compliance requirements
Oversee and validate local entity reporting
Provide assurance to the regional HOC on the integrity of financial reports
Ensure compliance with local legislation for financial reporting, accounting, control, statutory reporting, and tax reporting
Monitor fiscal and regulatory developments across jurisdictions
Assure the accuracy and completeness of actuals and forecast processes for local entities
Coach and mentor direct reports and wider finance and business teams
Build capabilities, competencies, and professional qualifications
Collaborate with Performance teams, GSC, and GBS
Manage and balance diverse demands from multiple countries

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant degree and experience in a related Finance area
Recognized national or international professional accountancy qualification, e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or CPA
Fluency in English
Strong understanding of the company’s financial and accounting processes and systems
Ability to collaborate with Corporate and Functions departments
Proven ability to interact with and influence people at all levels within the organization
Strong stakeholder management skills
Strong understanding of IT&S infrastructure, preferably SAP
Business awareness skills
