About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with the Solution Manager and domain experts in designing solutions across bp's global SAP landscape
  • Lead end-to-end solution design across relevant functional areas
  • Engage with collaborators to understand, analyse, and assess business requirements
  • Investigate, evaluate, prototype, and recommend solution options
  • Create, maintain, and govern high-quality solution design documentation
  • Review technical designs to ensure alignment with conceptual and process designs
  • Provide domain expertise to develop and maintain process maps and documentation
  • Support template governance by managing design changes
  • Identify improvement opportunities and contribute enhancements to the product backlog

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A degree or equivalent experience or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field
  • A recognised accountancy qualification (e.g., CIMA, CPA, ACA, ACCA) is preferred
  • SAP certification in ECC and/or S/4HANA
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflict
  • A strong passion for problem-solving
  • Proven teamwork and collaboration skills
  • General understanding of systems deployment activities
  • Strong prioritisation skills
  • Commitment to becoming a subject-matter authority on template solutions
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with business collaborators
