About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the delivery of procurement assurance activities, focusing on testing, evaluating, and strengthening compliance with key procurement policies, procedures, and controls.
- Execute procurement assurance activities, including control testing, reviews, and validation of policy compliance across defined scope areas.
- Assess adherence to key procurement policies and procedures and identify gaps or inconsistencies.
- Analyze findings from assurance activities to identify themes, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development of clear and structured assurance outputs, including reports, summaries, and insight packs for stakeholders.
- Maintain high-quality documentation and audit trails to support re-performance and governance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience supporting assurance, audit, or control testing activities within procurement, finance, or governance environments.
- Understanding of procurement policies, procedures, and control frameworks, and how they are applied in practice.
- Ability to review documentation, transactions, or processes and assess compliance against defined standards.
