About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Improve oil and gas production safely and efficiently by handling wells, production systems, and surveillance data
- Lead core activities within an integrated group of bp and partners subsurface staff
- Collaborate with other departments and the India Shareholding team to define and implement short and long-term plans
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all programs evaluated for potential hazards
- Enhance utilization of area wellstock and production/injection systems to deliver production target
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Engineering or Science
- Minimum 6+ years’ experience as Petroleum Engineer, with experience in production management and operations engineering
- Great communication and integrations skills
- Experience with offshore operations
- Proficient with system modeling and optimization
- Experience with planning and executing well interventions
- Understanding of flow assurance risks (hydrates, scale, asphaltenes) and management strategies
- Ability to handle multiple activities and to quickly respond to changing business priorities and make value and risk-based prioritization decisions
