About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and reporting structures supporting interventions analytics.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analysis.
- Own the development, enhancement, and modernization of Power BI, SQL reporting, and embedded visualization outputs
- Partner with business and data domain owners to translate requirements into robust analytical solutions.
- Establish and evolve business metrics and KPIs to support operational decision making.
- Deliver timely ad hoc analyses and visualizations to support interventions leadership.
- Lead the redesign and conversion of legacy reports and databases into modern, maintainable solutions.
- Apply AI enabled tools (e.g. Claude) to enhance data exploration, diagnostics, and insight development.
- Collaborate closely with the Data & Analytics team to support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Be the SME for Wellview to help support the intervention team
- Serves as a technical authority for interventions analytics and reporting.
- Influences data driven decision making through clear visualizations and analytical rigor.
- Promotes continuous improvement in analytical methodologies, tooling, and standards.
- Works effectively across distributed teams and cross functional stakeholders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting roles
- Strong experience in Wellview
- Strong SQL expertise, including complex query development and performance optimization
- Hands on experience with Power BI
- Experience in data modeling, analysis, testing, development, and deployment
- Experience supporting large scale data environments with batch and/or near-real-time data
- Oil & gas industry experience strongly preferred; upstream experience preferred
- Experience leveraging AI enabled tools (e.g. Claude) to support analytics and decision-making
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
