💰 $80,000 - $115,000 per year

About the role

  • Identify & reduce people and financial risks by developing and managing Loss Prevention initiatives and strategies
  • Liaise on policies and procedure technical content reducing incidents and losses
  • Mentor teams on loss prevention best practices such as ensuring personal safety during workplace violence and theft events
  • Maximize the value of monitoring tools and share the disruption value of mitigation barriers
  • Manage Loss Prevention relationships with site management to support Loss Prevention initiatives
  • Liaise with P&C, legal, operations, finance and payment teams on theft investigations and concerns
  • Facilitate Organized Retail Crime Association (ORCA) relationships

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years practical experience in retail loss prevention (convenience/grocery preferred)
  • Industry expertise and proven leadership skills in loss prevention/cash handling policies
  • Practical experience in developing and deploying disruption tools for product protection and investigative case management systems
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and influencing site management with Loss Prevention initiatives
  • LPC/LPQ certifications preferred
  • Strong understanding of operational processes & procedures
  • Experienced in investigations with telephonic interviews strongly preferred (Wicklander-Zulawski)
  • Experienced with exception-based reporting is a plus (ZEBRA, APRISS, Agilence, etc.)
  • Well organized and solid Time Management Skills
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional groups
  • Relationship Building through Influence without Authority Model
