About the role
- As a Sales Specialist, you will implement the sales plan in your territory and grow sales of lubricant products in the automotive segment for independent workshops, service providers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (FWS & OEMs)
- Prepare and execute activities for the automotive FWS & OEM channels to maximize growth
- Manage the sales plan for the existing customer portfolio and expand market share
- Analyze the value chain and optimize margins
- Develop and implement sales plans to acquire new customers
- Plan and run marketing campaigns, promotions and incentive programs
- Ensure brand presence at the point of sale and conduct product demonstrations
- Monitor monthly performance, analyze sales reports and produce market analyses
- Use digital tools such as Salesforce, Power BI and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) for efficient territory management
- Ensure compliance with HSSE, quality and brand standards as well as the bp Code of Conduct
- Define customer plans, KPIs and pricing decisions within the scope of the Delegation of Authority (DoA)
Requirements
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- You have experience in customer and channel management
- You have successfully worked cross-functionally and navigated complex organizational structures
- You have experience implementing marketing programs and launching and managing sales programs and promotional campaigns
- You have solid knowledge of products and services, customer segmentation and channel management
- You are skilled at developing strategies and activating accounts
- You enjoy managing customer relationships and analyzing customer profitability
- You are able to clearly demonstrate customer value and are confident with contracts and closing processes
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
