About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute procurement processes for goods and services, autonomously seeking to maximize financial gains by evaluating items to be purchased and grouping them to achieve economies of scale, formalizing contracts that ensure supply and contracted service levels, as well as negotiating renewals (terms/adjustments);
Responsible for preparing RFIs, RFQs and RFPs, as well as procurement notices;
Create and execute projects related to their category that are aligned with BP’s strategic planning;
Continuously evaluate alternatives for new suppliers and products, complying with established procurement strategies while maintaining ongoing interaction with user areas/Standardization Committee, seeking synergy/collaboration, agility and appropriate communication to ensure maturity and high performance;
Conduct technical visits and participate in meetings with current and prospective suppliers to ensure continuity of supply of products and services;
Ensure supplier registration and approval by collecting registration documents and continuously monitoring suppliers’ post-sale performance to improve service in line with BP’s needs;
Implement strategic partnerships through monitoring contracts or supply agreements;
Ensure the Institution’s purchasing needs are met (SLA for Purchase Requests) by monitoring, executing and controlling procurement processes through to delivery and compliance with established Rules and Policies;
Ensure the best acquisition conditions for products and services, respecting defined technical and quality specifications, through an analysis that considers the total cost of acquisition (lead time, warranty, taxes and logistics costs involved in the operation).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed higher education (Bachelor’s degree);
Mandatory knowledge: Negotiation techniques, knowledge of financial mathematics and computer skills at a user level;
Preferred: Knowledge of Accounting and Taxation. Understanding of Cost Reduction and Cost Avoidance concepts;
Mastery and practical application of Strategic Sourcing methodology and tools: RFx, TCO, Should Cost, Kraljic Matrix, Cost Indicators spreadsheet, Category Strategy Development and Category Card presentation;
Prior experience in procurement for PROADI, PRONON, PRONAS, OSS, incentivized projects, CONDECA, Fundo do Idoso, among others.
