About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute purchasing processes for materials and services, autonomously seeking to maximize financial benefits by evaluating items to be purchased and grouping them to achieve economies of scale; formalize contracts that guarantee supply and the contracted service levels, and negotiate renewals (terms/pricing adjustments).
Assist in identifying alternative suppliers and products by following established procurement strategies, maintaining continuous interaction with user departments and the Standardization Committee to foster synergy, collaboration, responsiveness, and clear communication, ensuring maturity and high performance.
Conduct technical visits and participate in meetings with current and prospective suppliers to ensure continuity of supply of products and services.
Assist with supplier registration and approval processes by collecting registration documentation and continuously monitoring suppliers' post-sale performance, aiming to improve service in line with BP's needs and realities.
Ensure the Institution’s purchasing needs are met (Purchase Request SLA) by monitoring, executing, and controlling procurement processes through to delivery, and ensuring compliance with established rules and policies.
Ensure the best purchasing conditions for products and services while respecting defined technical specifications and quality requirements, through analysis that considers the total cost of acquisition (lead time, warranty, taxes, and logistical costs involved in the operation).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree completed (Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields);
Knowledge of negotiation techniques and the concepts of Cost Reduction and Cost Avoidance;
Microsoft Office suite; intermediate Excel;
Preferred: previous experience in Supply Chain.
