• Independently coordinates the placement of children in foster family homes
• Develops and implements child's service plan and sets long and short term goals
• Supervises and monitors foster families to ensure they provide safe service
• Screens and assesses child referrals and interviews youth
• Schedules pre-placement visits and assists in matching youth with families
• Participates in recruiting and selection of Foster Parents including home study evaluations
• Prepares intake and discharge summaries and routine progress reports
• Conducts periodic consumer evaluations
• Responds to client emergencies
