About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You identify relevant target customers, research buying centers, prepare high-quality initial outreach, and generate qualified conversations for our sales team.
  • You identify and qualify potential new customers in our target markets, particularly automotive, Tier‑1 suppliers, industrial manufacturing and supply chain.
  • You research target accounts, relevant locations, contacts, decision-making structures and potential use cases for our BOX ID SaaS end-to-end solution.
  • Together with Sales and Marketing you build account dossiers that contain concrete hypotheses about pain points, business cases and entry opportunities.
  • You proactively and professionally reach out to potential customers via email, LinkedIn, phone, events and other channels.
  • You prepare initial meetings for our sales team and ensure every opportunity is handed over with relevant information, context and a clear objective.
  • You work closely with the sales team to strategically pursue target customers and develop qualified opportunities from initial contacts.
  • You support follow-up activities after trade shows, networking events, roundtables and marketing campaigns.
  • You maintain and structure information in our CRM system and help continuously improve our sales processes.
  • You use modern tools and AI applications to make research, personalization, account intelligence and outreach more efficient and effective.
  • You monitor market, industry and customer signals and recognize when a target account may be under relevant pressure to act.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ideally you hold a degree with a technical, business or sales-related focus.
  • Alternatively, convince us with initial practical experience in sales, business development, marketing, consulting or an industrial environment.
  • You are interested in B2B sales, complex products, industrial processes and digital solutions.
  • You work in a structured way, enjoy research and like to dive deep into companies, markets and target audiences.
  • You communicate clearly, reliably and professionally — both written and verbal.
  • You are not afraid to proactively contact people, follow up and persist in the face of resistance.
  • You bring a healthy hunting mentality without being blunt or short-term focused.
  • Advantageous: basic understanding of industrial logistics, supply chain management, automotive, track & trace, RFID, IoT or SaaS solutions.
  • Also advantageous: experience with CRM systems, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sales engagement tools or AI-based research and productivity tools.
  • Very good German and good English skills complete your profile.
