About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the stability and performance of CI across frontend and backend repositories.
Identify, triage, and fix non-determinism in test suites.
Establish Elixir unit and integration testing patterns.
Optimize pipeline performance with improvements in parallelization and caching.
Build developer-facing tooling and dashboards for CI health.
Define criteria for what 'ready to ship' looks like.
Bring AI-assisted test generation into workflows.
Partner with the QA Engineer and QA Lead for end-to-end tests integration into pipelines.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ Significant time as an SDET, test infrastructure engineer, or software engineer with a deep testing focus.
Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD systems such as CircleCI and GitHub Actions.
Production-level proficiency in at least one backend language, ideally Elixir.
Understanding of root causes of failing tests and ability to fix them.
Fluency with unit and integration testing patterns.
Experience building internal tooling or dashboards that other engineers actually use.
Strong written communication skills.
Nice to have: Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or Cursor.
