About the role

  • Translate complex financial and operational requirements into simple, intuitive user experiences. Ensure clarity, accuracy, and trust in every flow.
  • Use AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT in your design workflow to explore edge cases, pressure-test logic, and prototype flows.
  • Validate assumptions through lightweight research. Talk directly with customers, run usability tests, and iterate based on evidence.
  • Share work openly in critique and reviews. Contribute to a culture that values quality, clarity, and outcomes over artifacts.
  • Maintain a high bar for clarity, usability, visual craft, and consistency.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Boulevard’s design system by extending components and defining patterns that support commerce complexity.

Requirements

  • Experience designing complex, systems-heavy products, ideally in B2B, fintech, or commerce environments.
  • A track record of owning projects from problem definition through launch and measurable impact.
  • Comfort using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to accelerate discovery, prototyping, and iteration.
  • A portfolio that shows strong product thinking, interaction design, and craft.
  • Clear communication skills and comfort collaborating directly with engineers, product and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and making progress without complete information.
