Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for management of the Decision Support (cost accounting) system for the hospital and affiliated medical group
Oversee service line analytics and growth strategies across Boston Medical Center
Act as a key consultant to finance and operational leaders on the requirements of new businesses and programs
Serve as critical support throughout implementation
Develop consistent and accurate analysis and business proposals using data driven solutions and proactive planning
Assist in development of robust hospital service line analytics and benchmarks
Train and mentor junior staff across the Service Line Planning and Business Development team
Develop best practices for the department

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree required
Master’s degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, Economics), Public Health, Public Administration or Health Administration preferred
7+ years of healthcare managerial or consulting experience or other related field
Experience working with healthcare reimbursement and cost accounting required
Revenue modeling and business intelligence software preferred
Prior supervisory experience required
