About the role

  • Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports, extracts and dashboards within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Regularly develop reports, Radar content, and Dashboards using Slicer Dicer, and Reporting Workbench.
  • Maintain open communication with end users to define report specifications and establish expected timeline of development, validation, and delivery.
  • Work with application and clinical team members as needed to understand underlying workflows and where to find pertinent information in Chronicles.
  • Participate at weekly team and all staff meetings to keep up to date on all current projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field or relevant equivalent work experience needed.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in report development, with a focus on healthcare reporting in Epic EHR systems.
  • Experience with Epic’s Reporting Workbench, Radar, and Slicer Dicer is preferred.
  • Experience configuring reporting for multiple service areas within the Community Connect network is preferred.
  • Experience in lieu of education is also considered.
  • Experience with reporting tools, and knowledge of programming language.
  • Familiarity with data structure concepts and ETL processes is a plus.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
