About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve customers in a professional, quick, and courteous manner
Greet customers in a friendly manner
Operate the POS system and process sales quickly and accurately
Make change properly and use credit card equipment
Open and close shifts, including completing paperwork
Stock and price store items correctly
Check in vendor deliveries and assist with ordering
Understand fuel inventory reports
Clean and sanitize equipment and perform simple maintenance
Maintain a neat and clean store inside and outside
Recognize problems and report them to management
Handle, cook, store, rotate, code-date, and temperature-test food products
Comply with food handling guidelines and state/federal regulations
Ensure a clean and healthy food service environment
Report for scheduled work on time with regular and consistent attendance
Assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Retail or guest service experience preferred
Able to work the POS system efficiently
Ability to read, write, and perform math skills
Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude
Must be flexible and able to adapt to change
Demonstrates excellent communication skills
Must be well groomed and properly attired
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and any shift needed
Must have reliable transportation and phone
Must be able to communicate in English
Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service
Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Must stand for long periods of time and frequently walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear
May occasionally need to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
