About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, implement, and test algorithms to solve technical challenges for new In-The-Home or portable products
  • Demonstrate and deliver new benefits for our customers using innovative technologies and novel applications of technologies like Bluetooth® audio, Voice Assistants, Audio Virtualization, 3D spatial Audio and Active Noise Reduction
  • Work with Acoustics and Electrical Engineering teams to tune our products for best audio performance
  • Help take on the responsibility of moving a product through all the phases of development, from exploration all the way to production

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other Signal Processing related degree
  • MS degree or 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in real-time embedded DSP implementation in constrained target platforms for consumer products
  • Demonstrated experience in audio and speech processing such as AEC, noise reduction, speech enhancement, mic array processing or 3D audio
  • Exposure to acoustics and acoustic measurements
  • Experience with basic audio lab equipment as well as knowledge and exposure to basic hardware design
  • Proficiency in one or more high-level languages like C, C++, Python or Matlab
  • Ability to evaluate and integrate 3rd party algorithms and perform "make vs. buy" analysis
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to discuss complex technical issues with experts in other fields
  • Experience with Bluetooth® audio products and an understanding of their advantages and limitations
