About the role

  • Complete rotations through all areas of our Communications Directorate and the Content department as a dual student
  • Collaborate on topic research, copy editing and content planning
  • Support the creation, preparation and maintenance of editorial content for our digital channels (social media, website and BVB app)
  • Provide editorial coverage for sporting events and media formats
  • Work closely with the content production, corporate communications and sports communications teams

Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical college entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife), general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), or a completed vocational training followed by at least three years of professional experience, or an advanced vocational qualification such as Fachwirt or Meister
  • Ideally some experience in communications and creating content for social media, with a good sense for target-group appropriate communication and trends
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking, interpersonal skills and enjoyment of teamwork
  • High level of commitment, ambition and passion, along with a warm and authentic presence
  • Willingness to work weekends and match days, including beyond professional football
  • Good language skills and confident, stylistically secure communication in German and English
  • Affinity for football, ideally for Borussia Dortmund
