About the role
- Theoretical instruction is provided 2–3 times per month at FOM University of Applied Sciences Dortmund — typically one weekday evening plus Friday evening and a full day on Saturday of the same week
- On the remaining days you will actively work with our team and quickly take on responsibilities and independent tasks and topic areas
- Contribute to the further development and implementation of the brand identity
- Apply and ensure adherence to corporate design guidelines in day-to-day operations
- Create, coordinate and follow up on briefings and projects
- Support project and campaign management
- Act as an interface between Brand Management, internal departments and external agencies
- Contribute to project management
- Support brandings, projects and larger brand initiatives
- Prepare and maintain brand presentations, messaging and marketing plans
- Research and analyze brand-relevant topics
- Produce, evaluate and derive needs from market research and other analyses
- Develop strategic action and decision-making foundations (brand strategy, go-to-market plans, target groups & fan types)
Requirements
- A successfully completed bachelor's degree with at least 40 ECTS in business/economics, or a university degree in another field plus 18 months of professional experience before, during or after the first degree with a relevant connection to the master's program
- Initial professional experience in brand management and knowledge of project management
- Basic knowledge in brand, brand communication and design
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills
- Ideally cross-media know-how (from print to motion design) and a good sense for target-group–appropriate communication and trends
- Ideally basic knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Strong interpersonal skills and enjoyment of working in a team
- High commitment, ambition and passion, coupled with a warm and authentic presence
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Affinity for football, ideally a preference for Borussia Dortmund
