About the role
- Conceptual and operational management, documentation and further development of web content, especially on bvb.de and in the BVB app
- Writing, editing and publishing daily editorial content
- Editorial planning, coordination and implementation of newsletters
- Monitoring and reporting of user activity on bvb.de and in the BVB app
- Editorial support for internal departments and external partners
Requirements
- University degree (e.g., in communications, linguistics or journalism) or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in online editorial work, ideally with a focus on sports topics
- Initial experience with content management systems (CMS), SEO and digital accessibility
- Strong affinity for sport and football, particularly for Borussia Dortmund and the club’s traditions
- Interest in and enthusiasm for digital developments and topics
- Willingness to work weekends and match days, including beyond professional football
- Strong command of language and stylistically confident communication in German and English
