About the role
- Provide catering support at events, e.g., set-up and dismantling of buffets, serving food, stocking and labeling the buffet, etc.
- Regular cleaning and maintenance of buffet areas
- Quality control of external/contract staff and ensuring all equipment is operational
- Act as a liaison during events between the banquet area and the kitchen or dishwashing area
- Monitor and enforce hygiene and food safety regulations in accordance with HACCP standards
Requirements
- Ideally completed vocational training in the hospitality sector (e.g., assistant cook or housekeeping staff) or a comparable qualification
- Some professional experience working with food; previous buffet service experience desirable
- Strong flexibility, willingness to work, and ability to work in a team
- Structured, self‑motivated, and reliable working style
- High resilience (ability to work under pressure) and a strong sense of responsibility
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
