About the role
- Responsible for new projects components design and development in Korea
- Responsible for new projects assembly design and development in Korea
- Responsible for vehicle interface design in Korea
- Responsible for components and assembly validation test in Korea
- Responsible for defining customer requirements, system specification, conformance to requirement, vehicle integration and vehicle level performance characteristics in Korea
- Work with customers and suppliers including global engineering organization in the development and production of mechanical system
- Communicate the engineering related issues (i.e. design reviews, development, etc.) between global engineering and local plant
- Focus on cost reduction idea generation and implementation in products
- Support or participate in test travels with customers if necessary
