About the role
- Works within the department on day to day projects; which include but are not limited to activities related to process improvement, project management, data support, reporting, documentation, and other assigned responsibilities
- Builds relationships through meetings, events and one-on-ones with various employee owners and leaders
- Focuses on real-world projects within the department.
- Collaborates with various departments throughout the company
- Analyzes software inventory across servers, laptops, desktop, and other network equipment as necessary
- Researches risks of vulnerable software and recommends updates or removal of software to lower overall risk to company
- Works with various IT Teams to communicate software research and findings
- Helps automate software updates when applicable
- Works directly with helpdesk and IT Services teams resolving minor end-user security incidents using our IT incident ticketing platform
- Helps support our internal information security training and phishing simulation programs
Requirements
- Must be entering final year of undergraduate study at the time of application (Fall 2026/Spring 2027 graduation date)
- Strong knowledge of business office procedures, office equipment operation, data entry/keyboarding skills and communication systems helpful
- Prefer strong knowledge of PC for Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
