About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner closely with Technology and Data leaders to support effective risk management.
- Foster a proactive risk culture by providing pragmatic, commercial advice.
- Help teams understand and manage risk in sound decision-making and delivery.
- Contribute meaningful risk insights and support governance forums.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, Group Risk and Internal Audit to strengthen the control environment.
- Assist in shaping controls during design of change initiatives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in risk management, ideally within financial services.
- Strong understanding of non-financial risk in complex regulatory settings.
- Experience in Line 1 risk or a similar role.
- Exposure to technology, data or cyber risk.
- Involvement in risk in change, control design, and issues or incidents management.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage senior stakeholder engagement.
- Qualifications in risk, technology or business are beneficial.
