About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Join our Proprietary & Partnerships team, focused on growing strong, sustainable lending opportunities across the non-broker referral direct channel.
Build meaningful relationships and uncover new opportunities.
Engage with branch, direct customer networks, industry associations, or strategic partnerships.
Expand BOQ’s presence across commercial, agri, health, and investor segments.
Work closely with Relationship Managers, Credit, and broader banking teams.
Identify, qualify, and shape opportunities before handing them over for execution.
Strengthen our brand in the market and represent BOQ at events
Engage with referral partners, building a strong, trusted network.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A few years in business banking
Understanding of how to structure and assess lending opportunities across commercial and asset finance.
Confident navigating conversations with a range of stakeholders
Ability to position solutions that deliver value for both the customer and the Bank.
Proactive mindset and comfortable working autonomously
Strong collaboration with internal teams to deliver outcomes.
Excellent communication skills
Motivated by achieving results while delivering great customer experience.
