About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support DOE oversight of contractor conduct of operations
- Assist in technical training programs and maintenance activities
- Perform engineering assessments and document results in the iCAS database
- Coordinate issue identification, tracking, corrective actions, and resolution with HFO engineering staff
- Interface with DOE senior management and contractor leadership
- Research and apply DOE directives, policies, and procedures
- Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports and correspondence
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in meetings and project discussions
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA degree in engineering, science, or business management
- Six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a BS/BA degree
- Six (6) years of direct experience with HFO WTP/WED as a management consultant or senior manager
- Experience of writing assessment reports for WTP and entering into iCAS
- Comprehensive understanding of the Hanford Site mission, activities, and priorities
- In-depth knowledge of DOE Hanford processes and procedures
- Proficient in DOE’s program management practices, policies, and procedures
- Familiarity with technology management tools used at Hanford
- Exceptional communication skills
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft 365, MS Word, and Excel
