About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the DOE Hanford Assistant Manager for Business
Provide financial analysis, budget support, internal control assessments
Assist with financial reporting, forecasting, independent assessments
Complete ad-hoc analyses and assessments on financial data
Coordinate with supervisors to ensure timely resolution of assessment results
Complete pre and post-payment invoice reviews
Assist in evaluation of contractor benefit programs
Develop and maintain financial models and tools
Prepare independent financial and budget analysis and reports

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
Six years of experience may be substituted for a BS/BA degree
Ability to create/maintain positive contractor relationships
Business experience in applying analysis techniques
3-5 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Knowledge of Federal Government and DOE accounting policies
Proficiency with MS Office tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
