About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the DOE Hanford Assistant Manager for Business
- Provide financial analysis, budget support, internal control assessments
- Assist with financial reporting, forecasting, independent assessments
- Complete ad-hoc analyses and assessments on financial data
- Coordinate with supervisors to ensure timely resolution of assessment results
- Complete pre and post-payment invoice reviews
- Assist in evaluation of contractor benefit programs
- Develop and maintain financial models and tools
- Prepare independent financial and budget analysis and reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
- Six years of experience may be substituted for a BS/BA degree
- Ability to create/maintain positive contractor relationships
- Business experience in applying analysis techniques
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Knowledge of Federal Government and DOE accounting policies
- Proficiency with MS Office tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
