About the role
- Own configuration, administration, and support of Atlassian products (Jira Software, JSM, Confluence, Jira Product Discovery, Bitbucket, StatusPage, Guard) and PowerBI, serving as one of a few Subject Matter Expert for the P&T organization
- Manage user accounts, permissions, project configurations, workflows, custom fields, and system maintenance, including upgrades and patches
- Design and implement customizations — dashboards, filters, reports, and automation rules — to meet the needs of cross-functional teams
- Develop and maintain API integrations, custom plugins, and bespoke functionality using ScriptRunner, Groovy, and/or JavaScript
- Build and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports; aggregate disparate data to generate operational insights and support KPI metric reporting
- Partner with teams to understand data-driven objectives, define best practices for data capture and organization, and foster a data-driven decision-making culture
- Gather requirements, propose solutions, and develop roadmap presentations; provide technical support and maintain documentation of configurations and processes
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience administering and configuring Atlassian Cloud products (Jira Software, JSM, Confluence, Jira Product Discovery, Bitbucket) in a technology or SaaS environment
- Strong JQL knowledge with hands-on experience customizing workflows, permission schemes, screen schemes, and notification schemes
- Proficiency in Groovy and/or JavaScript and SQL, with the ability to write scripts to automate and customize Jira
- 2+ years of experience with PowerBI or comparable visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), with a passion for data analysis and delivering actionable insights
- 2+ years of data warehouse experience (e.g., Snowflake) and a solid understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable advising at all levels of the organization
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 3+ years in a data analysis function
- A strong sense of curiosity and desire to ask questions and problem-solve.
