About the role

  • The Head of Business Development and Partnerships is responsible for building and nurturing strategic relationships with both national and local businesses in the beauty industry. The primary objective is to drive growth for Booksy by developing lead-sharing and referral programs that attract more beauty service providers to the platform. This role focuses on identifying and securing mutually beneficial partnerships, creating scalable programs, and ensuring these collaborations generate a consistent pipeline of high-quality provider leads.
  • To drive growth for Booksy by developing lead-sharing and referral programs that attract more beauty service providers to the platform
  • Negotiate terms with potential partners that lead to provider growth
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure partnership leads are converting effectively

Requirements

  • Experience in Business Development & Partnerships work; a clear track record of success at building and maintaining relationships, while creating lead sharing programs focused on growth of customer acquisition.
  • Familiarity with managing the pipeline and using CRM to track and measure results.
  • Experience in contracting and completing partnership agreements.
  • Skilled in analyzing market trends and competitor analysis, to uncover potential opportunities for partnerships.
  • A strong track record of relationship building with both internal and external customers through active listening and trust building.
  • Strong communication and Presentation skills, comfortable in presenting to senior leaders, and representing Booksy.
  • Strong negotiation skills- a track record of negotiating favorable terms in large partnership deals.
  • Familiar with utilizing software and technologies- e.g. Salesforce, and navigating apps similar to Booksy.
