About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the technical design and implementation of new partner integrations and platform features.
- Own the full lifecycle of your services—from development and deployment to production monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Actively manage our AWS cloud infrastructure, writing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to ensure environment parity and security.
- Evolve our integration strategy, championing a platform-first mindset that drives synergies across our integration ecosystem.
- Ensure high-performance, secure communication between internal and external systems.
- Leverage cutting-edge AI-powered tools across the entire software development lifecycle—from system design and code generation to infrastructure automation, log analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Provide technical support and create high-quality documentation to ensure the long-term maintainability of our connectivity layer.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on backend development.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design, HTTP, authentication/OAuth, and webhook management.
- Familiarity with GraphQL concepts.
- Proven experience with AWS (e.g., ECS, Lambda, RDS), CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Strong experience setting up and maintaining monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog).
- Ability to translate complex system designs into clear, actionable documentation.
- Solid experience with modern backend languages (e.g., PHP/Laravel and Node.js/TypeScript).
- Expertise in database design (MySQL, NoSQL) and optimizing queries for large-scale data.
- Proficiency in integrating and leveraging AI-assisted programming and agents in your daily workflow.
- Fluency in English, with strong communication skills for customer and partner-facing situations.
- Experience with containerization (Docker).
