About the role
- Design, build, and elevate websites
- Lead end-to-end Webflow projects—from redesign strategy and UX to fully coded launch-ready sites.
- Translate brand and product goals into polished, high-performing web experiences.
- Use Webflow’s visual tools and custom code to create interactions, animations, and advanced functionality.
- Apply animation and motion design principles to enhance engagement and storytelling.
- Create and maintain a scalable design system within Webflow, including reusable components, styles, and conventions that make it easy for others to jump in, build confidently, and stay consistent.
- Partner with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align site experiences with business goals.
- Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to understand objectives, iterate on designs, and deliver beyond expectations.
- Test new approaches to layout, interactivity, and motion to continually raise the bar for web experiences.
- Champion best practices in accessibility, responsiveness, and performance across projects.
- Explore emerging tools, including AI, to accelerate design workflows, generate creative ideas, or enhance animations and interactivity.
- Design systems and component structures that balance flexibility with consistency, enabling faster iteration and collaboration across teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and launching websites on Webflow.
- Strong portfolio showing site redesigns, UI/UX excellence, motion/animation work, and use of custom code.
- Solid understanding of responsive design, CMS integrations, and site performance optimization.
- Experience using Webflow interactions, animations, and custom code to enhance UX.
- Familiarity with SEO, analytics, and best practices for web content.
- Strong visual design sensibility, attention to detail, and an understanding of brand storytelling.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder feedback.
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems directly within Webflow, not just in Figma.
- Strong understanding of reusable components, naming conventions, and structure that enable non-designers to contribute safely and efficiently.
- Interest in using AI tools to accelerate creative workflows, generate ideas, or enhance animations.
