Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build thoughtful, reliable features across the full stack
Work on backend services and APIs as much as frontend; strong in both needed
Bring strong UI and UX sensibility to frontend work
Proactively evaluate tradeoffs and speak up about them
Own work from sprint planning and ticket refinement through implementation, peer review, and demo
Use AI tools as part of work, coding, debugging, or researching
Think critically about where AI can create real value for clients and help shape features
Partner closely with product managers, designers, and QA to ship preferable products
Give and receive code reviews collaboratively

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript development on production systems
Strong React experience including component architecture, state management, and performance
Solid backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript, including building and maintaining production APIs and services
Solid grasp of REST APIs and GraphQL on both sides of the wire
Production experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
Familiarity with CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar
Comfortable working in AWS or a comparable cloud environment
Strong problem-solving skills, high EQ, and the ability to communicate and collaborate well across a team
Active daily use of AI coding assistants like Copilot, Cursor, or Claude
